After a confrontation, two Bishnoi gang gunmen were detained

Following a short encounter yesterday night in Nuh, a combined force including the Special Task Force (STF), Haryana, Counter Intelligence Force Delhi, and CIA, Nuh, apprehended two sharpshooters from the Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang. The two defendants are receiving treatment at Government Medical College, Nalhar, in Nuh after being shot in the legs.

The police have named the two individuals who were detained as the accused: Vishal, also known as Kalu (27), who lives in Gurugram’s Mahavirpura colony, and Ravi Kumar (30), who lives in Badu Sarai, close to Najafgarh in Delhi. Three cartridges and two illegally manufactured handguns were taken out of their hands. The two defendants were sought after for the February murder of Sachin, also known as Goda, a junk trader from Gurugram, in Rohtak.

The two suspects had been seen in Nuh district, according to information that the STF’s central section had obtained. A combined team including the CIA, Nuh, and Counter Intelligence Team Delhi was established upon receipt of this tip.

According to a senior police official, the squad detained the culprit on Monday night at approximately ten o’clock in the evening in the steep terrain close to Palla village in Sadar Nuh. The accused fired their illegal firearms at the police squad, leading to a tragic incident. Sub Inspector Rakesh Kumar’s bulletproof jacket was struck by one bullet, while Inspector Manjeet Jaglan’s jacket from the Delhi counterintelligence squad was struck by another. Both of the suspects suffered critical injuries as the police squad initiated retaliatory fire. Three live rounds and two illegal handguns with a.32 bore manufactured in the nation were found. The accused fired around ten bullets at the police squad, and the police team returned fire with roughly fifteen rounds.

“At the Sadar Nuh police station, a formal complaint was filed against the two accused in accordance with pertinent provisions of the Arms Act and IPC. Sonakshi Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Nuh, said that about nine instances of murder, robbery, and other offenses are recorded against accused Vishal, and three cases, one of which is for murder, are registered against accused Ravi.
