After June 4, the BJP will be put on “ventilator”: Education Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Rohit Thakur

According to Education Minister Rohit Thakur, the BJP will be on life support on June 4 as a result of the public’s vote-by-vote backlash.

The minister made an attack on the Leader of Opposition by claiming that Jai Ram Thakur was dreaming of returning to the state as Chief Minister. “The current government, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, faces no threats and will successfully serve out its five-year term,” he said.

“BJP leaders should stop misleading the people of the state; the math in the Assembly favors the Congress government,” said Thakur.

The Minister of Education said that the Congress will win all four parliamentary seats and six Assembly by-election seats, exposing the BJP in the eyes of the people of the state. “The BJP has attempted to use power and money to destabilize the state administration. The state’s citizens would hold the BJP accountable for their plot against an elected government, he continued, and they would respond appropriately in the next elections.

He accused the BJP of disingenuously granting tickets to former MLAs who had abandoned the Congress party, so demonstrating its involvement in horse-trading.
