An analysis by Mood of the Nation forecasts that the NDA would win 12 out of 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand

According to the India Today Group’s Mood of the Nation survey, which provides an understanding of voter sentiment, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Jharkhand was predicted to win 12 of the 14 Lok Sabha seats available.

The Mood of the Nation survey was performed between December 15, 2023, and January 28, 2024; as a result, it does not account for the recent changes in alliance arithmetic and political events that have occurred over the last several weeks.

The poll predicted that the NDA would get 56% of the entire vote share in Jharkhand, while the INDIA bloc would receive 30% of the total vote share.

Here is the breakdown of seats based on the suggested vote share.

NDA: twelve places
INDIA bloc: two places

The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) administration, headed by Champai Soren, has passed its first test after Hemant Soren’s detention, with a 47-29 majority in favor of the government’s vote of confidence in the legislature.

With its alliance with the Congress, RJD, and CPI(ML)(L), the JMM now has 29 MLAs, making up 48 of the 81 members of the House. There are 29 MLAs in the opposition NDA, which is made up of the BJP, the Ajit Pawar-led NCP, and the All Jharkhand Students’ Union (AJSU).

The BJP is expected to intensify its accusations of corruption against opposition figures in general and Soren in particular in the next Lok Sabha elections.

The BJP-AJSU Party combination won 12 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the last elections in 2019, while the Congress and the JMM each won one.

The Prime Minister has set a goal of 370 seats for the BJP and above 400 for the NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections; however, the opposition has united on a single platform to stop the Modi train.

The BJP garnered 303 seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, while the NDA won 351 seats overall. With just 52 members, the Congress was completely destroyed.

NATIONAL MOOD
On Thursday, February 8, at 12 noon, the most recent poll conducted by Mood of the Nation, one of the top opinion pollsters in India that consistently accurately represents the opinions of the electorate on the most important issues of the day, will be televised.

The coverage started in Delhi, where the BJP won the last Lok Sabha election but lost the ensuing Assembly election to the AAP.

The poll will provide light on the main complaints that people have about PM Modi’s administration, including unemployment, inflation, border disputes with China, and intercommunal violence.
