Avinash’s underwhelming performance as an MP Bhupesh Subbarami Reddy Chadipiralla

Chadipiralla Bhupesh Subbarami Reddy has been a prominent critic of YS Avinash Reddy, the Kadapa MP, describing his performance as unimpressive. Selected as the TDP candidate for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat, he claims that the district of Kadapa has not seen much progress as a result of the YS family’s protracted rule. In an interview with S Nagaraja Rao, Ch Bhupesh Subbarami Reddy pledges that, should he be elected, he will implement significant changes in the area.

What type of reaction are you receiving from candidates running for office?

Throughout our campaign, we have seen a notable anti-incumbency sentiment against the YSRC, especially with regard to the administration of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s unmet promises and the growing costs of necessities. Voters’ displeasure with the governing party’s subpar performance is evident in the overwhelming support we have received for our Super Six Manifesto. We have faith that voters will support us and make sure we win the elections.

The YSRC refers to its recipients as its “star campaigners” and claims to have personally paid crores of Rupees into their bank accounts as part of charity packages. What is your response to this claim?

The assistance programs of the governing party are tainted by accusations of financial exploitation and provide very little respite from the financial strain imposed on the public by higher taxes and prices. People are prepared to express their dissatisfaction at the polls because they are disappointed with the YSRC government’s performance.

What is your primary grievance about the YSRC MP in office?

I think the district has been let down by Avinash Reddy and the governing YSRC on a number of fronts. They made promises about industrial growth, but they haven’t followed through on building the Kadapa-Bangalore railway line or setting up a steel facility. The people’s confidence has been betrayed by this carelessness, particularly in light of the YS family’s historical supremacy in the area.

In what way can you rival the two-time MP?

During his time as an MP, Avinash Reddy has not undertaken many district development projects. His dismal performance has left voters disillusioned, giving us a chance to win their support. We will win because we will appeal to voters by focusing on important topics and keeping our word.

What are your top goals for Kadapa’s expansion?

Infrastructure projects like the Kadapa steel factory and the Kadapa-Bangalore railway line would be prioritized by me. I intend to take use of the district’s enormous industrial development potential by drawing significant investments and encouraging the creation of jobs. Furthermore, I will give top priority to helping jobless youngsters and farmers with numerous projects that will improve their standard of living.

There is a sizable Muslim community in Kadapa. Will the alliance between the TDP and the BJP be detrimental?

We have a successful history together with the NDA, therefore our collaboration won’t endanger our prospects of winning. Through a variety of development projects, we have continuously sought to meet the requirements of all populations, especially Muslim communities. The interests of every person would be better protected under the direction of TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu.
