BJP Says It Is Prepared For Elections In Jammu and Kashmir And Will “Brutally” Destroy Political Opponents

The BJP has said that it is prepared for the elections in Jammu and Kashmir and that it is prepared to “brutally” obliterate any political rivals there.

After former chief minister Omar Abdullah said that the BJP did not want the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections to be held in the UT, the party responded.

Kavinder Gupta, a BJP politician, said that the party is always prepared for all forms of elections in Jammu and Kashmir and that the Election Commission (EC) would decide whether or not to conduct the Assembly election in the UT.

The BJP leadership in Jammu and Kashmir is waiting for all kinds of political contests to brutally decimate its opponents as the party enjoys tremendous support from the electorate — whether it is in Jammu, Kashmir, or any other part of the Union Territory, Gupta was quoted by PTI as saying. “Those accusing the BJP of deliberately delaying the election are simply daydreaming,” Gupta was quoted as saying.

The saffron party is always prepared for elections in Jammu and Kashmir, according to the former deputy chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Gupta, and it is up to the EC to decide whether or not to schedule the Assembly election.

According to the article, he said Abdullah was in a fool’s paradise since the BJP’s achievements have altered the situation not just in Jammu but also in Kashmir.

The electorate has been galvanized and is standing shoulder to shoulder with the party to teach a lesson to the dynastic parties that destroyed several generations of Kashmiris just to satiate their vested interests, Gupta said. After terrorism was ended in Jammu and Kashmir and normalcy was restored by the BJP government at the Centre, the report mentioned.

“The Narendra Modi administration has made significant improvements to the situation in Jammu and Kashmir over the last several years, but the EC will determine when the poll will be held. He was reported as saying, “Whether it’s for the panchayat, assembly, or parliament, the BJP is always prepared for elections.

Gupta said that by holding elections for the district development councils (DDCs) and block development councils (BDCs), the Modi administration has increased democracy at the local level.

“Modiji has shifted the democracy to 30,000 elected representatives on the ground in Jammu and Kashmir, from 87 selected MLAs, six MPs, and three families,” he said, according to the article.

According to Gupta, dynastic parties like the NC and People’s Democratic Party (PDP) are overconfident because they believe the election results would be in their favor, but the truth is different and will burst their hope balloons, the report said.
