The directive also states that Nayab Singh Saini shall maintain control over the departments of law, personnel and training, Raj Bhavan Affairs, criminal investigation, and any other department that has not been assigned to a minister.

Notably, under the previous administration headed by Manohar Lal Khattar, Anil Vij was in charge of Haryana’s home department. Vij hasn’t been given a position in the Saini cabinet, however.

Important ministries like Fisheries, Heritage and Tourism, Animal Husbandry, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, and Parliamentary Affairs are under the control of Cabinet Minister Kanwar Pal.

J. P. Dalal formerly held the position of Agriculture in the Khattar administration.

The order said that Mool Chand Sharma, a cabinet member who formerly served as the ministry’s transport portfolio holder, has been assigned to the ministries of industry and commerce, labour, food and civil supplies, and consumer affairs.

Ranjit Singh, who also held these positions in the Khattar regime, kept his positions in the departments of energy and jails.

In addition to the other cabinet ministers, Khattar’s important finance department has been entrusted to Jai Prakash Dalal. He will also be in charge of the departments of urban estates and town and country planning.

Anil Vij’s positions in health, Ayush, medical education, and research are now filled by cabinet minister Kamal Gupta. Civil aviation, which was formerly overseen by JJP deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala, would also fall under Gupta’s purview.

The departments of Public Works (Building and Roads) and Public Health Engineering have been assigned to Cabinet Minister Banwari Lal.

Seema Trikha receives both a school education and a university education among the Ministers of State, who are all in charge independently.

In the Khattar administration, JJP leaders oversaw the ministries of development and panchayats, which Mahipal Dhanda will now manage as Minister of Cooperation.

The Transportation, Women, and Child Development department has been assigned to Aseem Goel.

The departments of Sainik and Ardh Sainik Welfare, Water Resources, and Irrigation have been assigned to Abhe Singh Yadav.

While Bishamber Singh will be in charge of the departments of social justice, empowerment, SC and BC welfare, printing, stationery, and Antyodaya, Subhash Sudha will be in charge of the Urban Local Bodies and Housing for All.

The departments of the environment, forests, wildlife, and sports have been assigned to Sanjay Singh.

The departments of social justice, empowerment, SCs and BCS welfare, antyodaya, printing, and stationery have been handed to Bishamber Singh.

In accordance with the directive, the governor of Haryana assigned the portfolios to the Council of Ministers based on the chief minister’s recommendation.

Haryana’s CM is Nayab Saini.
Just a few weeks before the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP unexpectedly ousted Manohar Lal Khattar from his position as chief minister of Haryana and nominated prominent OBC politician Nayab Singh Saini in his stead.

On March 12, Saini was sworn in as the new chief minister of Haryana, and his new cabinet consisted of four BJP MLAs and one Independent.

One week after taking over for Khattar, on March 19, Saini welcomed eight BJP MLAs—seven of them were newcomers—into his council of ministers, marking the first of its kind.

Last Wednesday, at a special session of the state assembly, the Saini government was voted in favour.
