A car thief is apprehended by the police

Three stolen two-wheelers, including two motorcycles and an Activa scooter, were found in the custody of the apprehended car thief yesterday night by the police.

Mohit Yadav, an occupant of Gobindpura hamlet close to Rae Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh (UP), has been identified as the culprit, according to Superintendent of Police Rupinder Kaur Bhatti.

and is living close to Phagwara in the area of Kot-Rani.

According to DSP Jaspreet Singh, the police apprehended the suspect at Virk turn in Phagwara, using a stolen motorbike that had a fictitious license plate, PB-36J-6624, after receiving a tip.

According to the DSP, the suspect acknowledged his role in the two-wheeler theft. Following his revelation, the police found an Activa scooter with a phony registration number of PB-10EN-5072 and a stolen bike with a phony registration number of PB-10ES-1725.
