CM Mamata Banerjee’s house with a gun while a man from Kolkata poses as police and is arrested for doing so
Aman was detained by the Kolkata Police on Friday for attempting to break into Mamata Banerjee’s home in the state capital of West Bengal while pretending to be a police official.
Police claim that Sheikh Noor Alam attempted to break into the chief minister’s home while carrying a gun, a knife, and illegal narcotics.
He was found to be in possession of one pistol, one knife, and drugs in addition to ID cards from several organizations. According to authorities, “he was driving a car with a police sticker on it.”
The apprehended suspect is reportedly being questioned at the neighborhood police station by the police, STF, and a special branch.
The event happened before Mamata Banerjee left her home in Kalighat to participate in the “Martyr’s Day” demonstration in the city’s center.
