Congress propagandizes by inciting fear, spreading rumors, and now deepfake: Anurag Thakur

Union minister Anurag Thakur said on Wednesday that the Congress was propagandizing via a variety of techniques, including deepfake, rumor, fear, and confusion.

He disputed the accusations made by the Congress that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) administration would remove reservations or that democracy was in danger.

“The imposition of emergency ended democracy during the Congress regime,” Thakur said to PTI Videos at the Lucknow airport.

The minister is in Uttar Pradesh for a number of events, including party leaders submitting nominations.

“Congress is using fear, confusion, rumour, deepfake and all kinds of tricks., like the way foreign powers try to destabilise any country,” he said.

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s “deepfake and morphed” video was allegedly spread by the Congress to sabotage the election process, according to a complaint filed by the BJP with the Election Commission. The BJP requested harsh punishment for the Congress.

“Congress has been lying all the while. They claim that democracy and reservations will come to an end. During its ten years in power, the Modi administration did not discuss reservations. Under the Modi government, it will never cease. The rights have been granted to OBC, SC, and ST. However, Thakur said that the Congress had appropriated their rights.

He also mentioned the states that are dominated by Congress, such Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana, where reservations are in jeopardy. The Congress brought Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar down. Constitution Day was observed on this era, and ‘Panch Teerth’ was created.”Sabka saath sabka vikas” is our motto.

According to Thakur, Uttar Pradesh will break previous records and be crucial to reaching the “400 paar” goal in the Lok Sabha elections this year.”Whether it was in 2014 or 2019, UP was involved. The accomplishments of the Modi administration must be brought into every home.”

The minister said that while Congressman Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party chairman Akhilesh Yadav have reconnected, the two “shehzadas” “would not be able to do much.”

The grandson of former prime minister H D Deve Gowda, MP Prajwal Revanna, was suspended by the JD(S) on Tuesday due to an alleged sex scandal. He also questioned the Congress for apparently doing nothing about it.

“It is necessary to take strict measures regardless of Revanna’s political party or family.” I want to know why Mallikarjun Karge, the president of the Congress and a Karnataka native whose government is in power, and Rahul Gandhi did not take action to arrest Revanna, Thakur remarked.

At the Ram temple in Ayodhya, the BJP leader offered prayers to Ram Lalla. “I prayed for ‘Ek bharat shreshth bharat’ and for a developed country,” Thakur said.

When asked whether Rahul Gandhi will also be visiting the Ram temple, Thakur said, “I want to say that those who did not attend the consecration ceremony and questioned the existence of Lord Ram ultimately have to come to the feet of Lord Ram.” People will restore authority to those who brought Lord Ram, he said.
