Delhi CM Kejriwal: “Modi Govt’s Fight Against Corruption Is ‘Nautanki,’ Only Corrupt Join BJP”

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convener of the AAP, called the Narendra Modi government’s anti-corruption campaign on Sunday “nautanki” or “theatrics,” claiming that people the BJP accuses of corruption are rewarded with cabinet slots after joining the party.

The Delhi chief minister further stated that personnel from the Income Tax (IT) department, Enforcement Directorate (ED), or Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) would not dare to approach someone who had joined the BJP after committing a “huge sin or a crime” at a party event in Rohtak, Haryana.

The corrupt are who? Those who have been apprehended by the ED and imprisoned are not the corrupt. Those who joined the BJP because of the ED threat are the crooked ones. Those apprehended by the ED who chose not to join the BJP are quite truthful. Since they are aware that they will emerge today or tomorrow,” he added.

However, dishonest people are aware that if they are caught, they would have to serve a life sentence in prison and will have to join the BJP right away. Thus, recognize the dishonest and the truthful,” the AAP chief said. The prime minister claims to be battling corruption and the corrupt, but I want to let him know that Kejriwal would have been the first to back you if that was the case. When Modi visited a state, he identified a handful of its leaders and threatened to put them in prison for corruption. He said, “Those leaders joined the BJP sometime later,” declining to provide any names.

“Is this your fight against corruption?” he inquired. This is theater, or nautanki.

Kejriwal was recently asked by the Enforcement Department (ED) to testify in the purported Delhi excise policy case and provide a statement in accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). Kejriwal did not show up for his appointment with the ED on Thursday, November 2. Instead, he sent a letter to the agency requesting a “recall” of the summons, describing it as “vague, motivated, and unsustainable in law.” The chief minister of Delhi said, “People are also talking about a friend of the prime minister who is actually running the country.”

The PM is said to only work for that acquaintance. It’s also said that this buddy, not the PM, is in charge of the nation. He is the one who makes the choices and has the authority to create and enact laws. It’s risky out here,” he said.

“They say they will arrest Kejriwal, I want to tell them you may arrest me, but how will you suppress my voice,” he remarked, taking aim at the BJP at the gathering, which was attended by thousands of party office bearers at the village and ward levels.

They claim that I criticize Modi ji a lot. He stated, “I want to tell Modi ji that if you start working for 140 crore people in this country and not for one friend, I will support you and the entire AAP will support you.” He also said that the CBI and other agencies are instructed to target members of the BJP list who criticize the PM in “fake” cases.

“What was wrong with (AAP leader) Sanjay Singh was that he spoke out against the PM in parliament. The AAP is now in power in two states, Delhi and Punjab, thanks to the affection and support of the people of the nation, according to Kejriwal.

After the Congress and the BJP, we are the third-largest party in the nation. And the rate at which the AAP is expanding terrifies Modi ji. He stated, “Modi ji is afraid of your strength, the people’s power, not of Kejriwal. Without naming names, Kejriwal said that after gaining power in Haryana, one party spoke about Jats and another about non-Jats, but neither did anything positive for any of these populations.

According to Kejriwal, Haryana is seeing a wave of change, and the AAP will win the state’s assembly elections in 2024.
