Details about PM Modi’s ₹240-crore opening of the Ayodhya Dham Junction train station

On Saturday, Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains were launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also officially opened Phase I of the renovated Ayodhya railway station, also known as Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station. He also gave the country his all for a number of other railroad initiatives. Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, welcomed Modi warmly when he arrived at Ayodhya.

A few weeks before the Ram Temple’s great dedication event on January 22, Modi is visiting Ayodhya.

On Saturday, he is also expected to open the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya Dham. Additionally, Modi will take part in a public event where he will launch, pay tribute to the country, and lay the groundwork for other state-wide development projects totaling more than ₹15,000 crore.

Approximately ₹11,100 crore of these projects are for the development of Ayodhya and its environs, while approximately ₹4,600 crore are for projects linked to other projects in Uttar Pradesh.

The three-story, contemporary train station building has all the amenities of today, including cloakrooms, childcare areas, food plazas, escalators, elevators, and stores for puja supplies.
The station building will be “green station building certified by IGBC” and “accessible for all.”
Six Vande Bharat trains and two Amrit Bharat trains
From the renovated Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, Modi signaled the departure of six Vande Bharat Express trains and two Amrit Bharat trains.

The LHB push-pull function is a novel feature of the Amrit Bharat Express class of ultrafast passenger trains. Coaches on these trains lack air conditioning, however.

There are locos on each end of this train to improve acceleration. More amenities for train passengers include well-designed seats, better baggage racks, LED lighting, CCTV, public information systems, and mobile charging stations with appropriate holders.

The new Amrit Bharat trains will run as the Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express and the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express, Amritsar-Delhi Vande Bharat Express, Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt Vande Bharat Express, Mangalore-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express, Jalna-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express, and Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Vande Bharat Express are among the Vande Bharat Express trains that were flagged off.

In order to improve the region’s train infrastructure, the PM additionally pledged three railway projects, totaling ₹2,300 crore, to the country. The projects include the Rooma Chakeri-Chanderi third line project; the Jaunpur-Ayodhya-Barabanki doubling project; the Malhaur-Daliganj railway section; and the Jaunpur-Tulsi Nagar, Akbarpur-Ayodhya, Sohawal-Patranga, and Safdarganj-Rasauli sections.
