Early in May, Priyanka will speak at a rally in Nandurbar

Nashik: In order to support party candidate Gowal Padvi, the son of former state minister KC Padvi, AICC general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was scheduled to speak at an election rally in the Nandurbar Lok Sabha (LS) seat during the first or second week of May.

“Priyanka is anticipated to hold the election rally in Nandurbar between May 5 and 10, although the exact date has not yet been determined,” said Shirishkumar Naik, the acting president of the party’s Nandurbar district unit.

In tribal-majority Nandurbar, the Congress and BJP were engaged in a direct fight. It was from there that Rahul Gandhi began the Maharashtra portion of his Nyay Yatra last month.
In the seat where the BJP had nominated incumbent Member of Parliament Heena Gavit, Padvi launched his campaign.

Heena Gavit has beaten Congress’s Manikrao Gavit in the 2014 LS elections. She has beaten Congress candidate KC Padvi in the 2019 LS elections.
On April 25, Padvi was scheduled to present his candidacy with senior leader Balasaheb Thorat and state Congress president Nana Patole.
