Every week, CM will visit two ministers incarcerated: Pathak

Rajya Sabha MP for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Sandeep Pathak, reaffirmed the party’s position on Monday, saying that the government would keep operating out of prison. He said that starting next week, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would meet with two ministers incarcerated to assess their jobs.

Together with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Pathak, the national general secretary of the AAP, also visited the jailed Delhi Chief Minister. In prison, Pathak and Mann met for thirty minutes with the national convenor of the AAP.

“We will pursue any necessary legal proceedings to ensure this occurs,” he said. He said, “The government will start operating from jail in a proper format when the ministers meet next week.”

He stated that Kejriwal is more concerned with the public than with himself, even when he is incarcerated. He told us not to worry about himself since he was prepared for the fight when we inquired about his health.

Pathak revealed the meeting’s specifics, saying the Punjab Chief Minister was speechless and could not stop crying. Pathak delivered the CM’s action plan, which calls for an examination of the departments’ operations in the next few days. “He asked me to convey the message to all MLAs to go door to door in their areas and meet the public to understand their concerns,” Pathak said. MLAs need to make an effort to address any problems that the public may be having. He said that the MLAs would need to put in twice as much effort to make up for his absence.

“He said that the budget’s most significant announcement—that women would get Rs 1,000 per month—had been approved. Kejriwal said that there is no cause for concern. As soon as he is out of prison, he will carry out the plan, according to Pathak.
