Himachal Pradesh ex-CM PK Dhumal says the Congress manifesto reveals a hidden purpose

As stated in the election platform, the Congress-India coalition would seize private properties if elected to power. In a press statement issued here today, former chief minister PK Dhumal made this claim. He advised voters to exercise caution since the Congress manifesto revealed covert agendas.

According to the former chief minister, the Congress has been losing ground in public opinion since 2014 and is now attempting to undermine Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Dhumal said that a Congress aide had made hints about enacting an inheritance tax comparable to that in the United States. He continued, saying that a comparable Act known as the Compulsory Deposit Scheme Act was introduced in the 1960s and 1970s. He said that the Congress government at the time forced citizens to give the government a portion of their earnings.
