IAS Tina Dabi Posts a Touching Message Before Taking Maternity Leave

IAS Tina Dabi, who placed first in her 2015 UPSC class, has received a lot of media attention. Her professional history and accomplishments have been meticulously documented by social media. She made history by being Jaisalmer’s first female collector. Her professional work and her marriage to IAS officer Pradeep Gawande after her divorce from IAS Athar Amir Khan both garnered media attention. Before leaving for her maternity leave, Tina Dabi thanked the residents of Jaisalmer for their love and support during her time as mayor in a statement on social media. Serving the district, according to her, was a gift.

In addition to securing All India Rank 2 in Niti Aayog’s Aspirational District Programme and running the International Desert Festival 2023, Tina shared a wide range of photos from the various projects she worked on while serving as District Collector and Magistrate in Jaisalmer. These projects included Swachh Jaisan and Ladies First (Jaisan Shakti). She described the trip as great.

It has been stated that IAS Ashish Gupta would shortly take over as Jaisalmer Collector in response to Tina Dabi’s plea for maternity leave, which was granted by the Ashok Gehlot-led administration. As the Managing Director of RajCOMP Info Services Limited and the Commissioner and Joint Secretary of the Department of Information Technology and Communication, Ashish Gupta, an IAS officer from the 2013 batch, is now employed in Jaipur. His transfer to the position of Jaisalmer Collector was made known by the IAS transfer list, which was made public on Thursday night.
