If Naidu gets re-elected, he would seize the whole State: Sajjala

TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu has been called a “national and international scamster,” according to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, the government advisor for public affairs and general secretary of the YSRC.

Speaking to reporters here on Friday, he said that he would takeover the whole State if Naidu was granted power once again.

Referencing the recent Telangana High Court ruling regarding the land allocation carried out by Naidu during his tenure as Chief Minister of the former undivided Andhra Pradesh, Sajjala stated that in February 2004, 400 acres in Gachibowli, close to Central University, were given to IMG Bharat. At the time, the then-government of Chandrababu Naidu entered into a sale deed, charging Rs 50,000 per acre at a cost of Rs 2 crore.

The TDP was a caretaker administration at the time the plan was adopted. A proposal to donate an additional 400 acres close to the airport was made, but no sale transaction was completed. “Naidu was aware of the location of the airport and the ring road, which is why the proposal to hand over an additional 400 acres was made,” he claimed, adding that the TDP chairman was behind the Rs 80,000 crore fraud.

Fortunately, an investigation into the scandal was undertaken after the election of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. However, Naidu was able to flee because to YSR’s kindness. He said that Naidu would have been imprisoned otherwise.

Sajjala said that the 2014–19 Amaravati start-up fraud was comparable. He said that a fake start-up business received 1,400 acres of land in the Amaravati core region.

The State Secretariat, the Assembly, and the projected homes for the Governor and Chief Minister were all near to the property. With Rs 5,500 crore, it was suggested that the corporation build the roads and drainage that the government needs. He said that the corporation was granted a 15-year period.

He said that Naidu had handed his behamis the property in the central area and mentioned that 40 acres had also been bought by former minister P Narayana. The legal matter is still underway.

“Poll alliance discussions, which have been ongoing over the last two months, are an effort to bring the TDP back from the brink. In order to beat YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the next elections, Naidu is attempting to mobilize all of his resources. He said that “Naidu is depending on other people to win elections every time, and 2019 proved that he is incapable of doing so.”
