“I’m glad to be in the BJP,” Days after her son Varun Gandhi was refused a ticket, Maneka Gandhi breaks her silence

On her ten-day journey to Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh, BJP MP Varun Gandhi’s mother, Maneka Gandhi, broke her silence a few days after her son was refused a ticket from his seat and stated her delight at being a member of the party.

She said, “Ask him what he wants to do,” when asked what Varun Gandhi would do at this point. After the elections, we will give this some thought. Time is on your side. “I’m thrilled to be a member of the BJP. I appreciate that PM Modi, Amit Shah, and Nadda Ji gave me the ticket. I was at a loss as to where to fight since the ticket was released so late. from Sultanpur or Pilibhit. She expressed gratitude for the party’s current choice.

She went on to say, “I am very happy that I came back to Sultanpur because this place has a history where no MP came back into power again in Sultanpur.”

She had never been to Sultanpur before, even after obtaining the ticket. She will visit 101 villages in the district throughout the course of her 10-day stay, covering the whole Lok Sabha constituency.

Party officials and workers greeted her warmly at Katka Guptarganj, Tatianagar, Tedhui, Golaghat, Shahganj Square, Dariyapur Tiraha, and Payagipur Square, among other locations.

Maneka Gandhi also honored the sculptures of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at this time.

Prior to this, Varun Gandhi sent an emotional letter to the residents of his constituency, stating that he would remain in contact with Pilibhit, an area in Uttar Pradesh, till the day he passes away.
