In Rajgarh, a two-story home was destroyed

A late-night fire in Laharab hamlet in Rajgarh’s Tikkar Panchayat destroyed a two-story wooden home along with thousands of rupees’ worth of cash, jewelry, and other items.

Despite the fact that no deaths were recorded, the fire destroyed around Rs 1 lakh worth of cash, jewelry, and household goods.

Owner Satendra said that while the family was sleeping on the ground level, the fire originated on the top floor of the home.

They saw smoke in their rooms and managed to get out safely. The home was completely destroyed and nothing could be saved, even though the locals tried to put out the fire.

The injured family has received immediate help of Rs 25,000 from the local authority.

An investigation was being conducted in order to ascertain the cause of the fire.
