In the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the AAP would run alone for all 13 seats in Punjab

Previous reports said that AAP is considering standing separately for each of Punjab’s 13 Lok Sabha seats. It was disclosed that Kejriwal has approved the AAP’s Punjab unit’s request to run a single candidate in the general elections.

According to reports, AAP may decide against forming an alliance with Congress in Punjab, citing the party’s rigid attitude on seat-sharing as the basis for their hesitation.

It should be mentioned that the AAP had a severe collapse in 2019 after winning four seats with a 25% vote share in its first Lok Sabha elections in 2014. But in the current elections, it has performed terribly, garnering only one seat and a dwindling vote share of 7.36%—less than one-third of what it did in Punjab five years before.
