In the Coimbatore, Pollachi, and Tirupur Lok Sabha constituencies, AIADMK fields fresh faces

Coimbatore: Singai G. Ramachandran, the AIADMK candidate, tweeted on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, just after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) declared K Annamalai, the president of Tamil Nadu, as its candidate for the Coimbatore Lok Sabha.
Ramachandran graduated from PSG College of Technology in Coimbatore with a degree in electronics and communication engineering.

After three years of employment at Focus Academy for Career Enhancement, Ramachandran enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad, in 2013 to pursue a degree.
Ramachandran was named secretary of the party’s IT branch by party supremo and former chief minister J. Jayalalithaa in March 2016.
The party’s triumph in the 2016 state assembly election was mostly due to the IT branch. Following Jayalalithaa’s death, he offered his assistance to O. Panneerselvam, the previous chief minister. In 2017, he was kicked out of the AIADMK. He was reappointed as the AIADMK IT wing state secretary after the merger of the OPS and Edappadi K. Palaniswami factions.
From 1991 to 1996, his father, Govindarasu, served as an MLA for the Singanallur seat.
In the parliamentary seats of Pollachi, Tirupur, and Nilgiris, AIADMK has nominated fresh candidates.
Logesh Tamilselvan, the son of Avinashi MLA and former legislative assembly speaker P Dhanapal, has been nominated by the party for the Nilgiris parliamentary constituency, where incumbent DMK MP A Raja is vying to keep his seat. L. Murugan, the head of the BJP, is running for the Nilgiris seat.
Karthikeyan, 45, is the candidate put out by AIADMK for the Pollachi parliamentary seat. He has been the secretary of the AIADMK in Anaimalai West. He has finished two banking courses and a B.Tech. in textiles from Kumaraguru College of Technology in Coimbatore. He was employed in Buckingham and London’s financial industries.
For the Tirupur parliamentary seat, the AIADMK has nominated P. Arunachalam, a fresh face from Periya Vettuvapalayam, near Perundurai in the Erode district. He came from a farming family from birth. The MGR Youth Wing’s secretary is Arunachalam (Erode East). In addition, he serves as the Perundurai town panchayat member for Ward #4.
