Karan Gaikar, a Nashik native, was declared a VBA contender

Nashik: Karan Gaikar was nominated by the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) on Saturday to represent the Nashik Lok Sabha seat.

Karan Gaikar will run for the Nashik Lok Sabha seat, according to party state president Rekha Thakur. In the Lok Sabha seat for Dindori (ST), Malati Rahul Thavil will take Gulab Barde’s place, while in the Jalgaon constituency, Yuvraj Jadhav will take Praful Lodha’s position.

One of Sakal Maratha Samaj’s state-level members is Karan Gaikar. He has led the struggle calling for reservations for the Maratha people.
“I have spoken with Prakash Ambedkar on his candidacy. It is common knowledge that neither the Mahayuti nor the MVA have made any contributions to the community, which includes Dalits, farmers, and Marathas, among others. Therefore, we are offering the public a third alternative, and we are certain that they will support us,” Gaikar said.

Thavil will take Barve’s position in Dindori (72). Thavil is a member of the Gorthan village gram panchayat in the Niphad taluka. Malati Thavil, whose husband manages the Shivtarai Foundation and her mother-in-law is a sarpanch, is a new member of the gram panchayat in the village.
Malati claimed to be a resident of Surgana taluka’s Garmal village and a member of the tribal people.
