Khajuraho-Udaipur Train Engine Caught Fire Near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh

The engine of the Udaipur City-Khajuraho train caught fire. The train then came to a halt at Gwalior’s Sitholi railway station in Madhya Pradesh.

Two air-conditioned coaches of the stationary Udyan Express caught fire earlier in the day at Bengaluru City Railway Station, according to PTI. Since there were no people in the bogies, there were no injuries. According to railroad authorities, the train left Mumbai at 5.45 am and arrived at Bengaluru City Railway Station’s platform three.

“At 7:10 am, smoke was seen in coaches B1 and B2. The fire brigade received a message right away. Anish Hegde, the South Western Railway’s chief public relations officer, said in a statement that the fire was put out by the time the fire department arrived at 7.35 am.
