Lok Sabha Elections: Telangana Chief Minister to Start District Tour on January 26

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has made the decision to visit every district in the state after January 26 in advance of the Lok Sabha elections.

According to a statement from his office on Monday night, Reddy, who is also the president of the state Congress, met separately with leaders of the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak, Mahbubnagar, and Hyderabad here and urged them to put in a lot of effort to ensure the party wins the next general elections.

The party’s vote campaign will include his first public gathering at Indravelli in the Adilabad district.

After assuming leadership as the Telangana PCC president in 2021, Reddy attended his first enormous public gathering at Indravelli.

He will now go to the first public gathering in Indravelli after his appointment as Chief Minister.

Revanth Reddy promised to be reachable by MLAs (after January 26), in contrast to the previous Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao, the announcement said.

The MLAs would have access to the CM in the Secretariat three days a week, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Reddy urged party chiefs to put forth greater effort in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

It further said, “CM Revanth has set a target to win more than 12 out of 17 MP seats for the Congress in the Telangana Lok Sabha elections.”

In the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, the Congress has taken three seats in Telangana.
