Man with two kg of opium
Yamunanagar: Two kilograms of opium were found in the custody of a guy who was detained by the Yamunanagar district police’s Special Cell. The offender, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Kanwaljit Singh, has been identified as Hamendra from the Uttar Pradesh district of Budaun.
He was placed under five days of police detention after being presented before a Jagadhri court on Tuesday. TNs

Sirsa: Vijay Singh, the election expenditure observer for the Lok Sabha seat of Sirsa, called a meeting of political party members at the Mini-Secretariat here on Tuesday. According to the restrictions set out by the Election Commission of India, a candidate running for Lok Sabha may spend a maximum of Rs 95 lakh, and they were not permitted to make cash payments of more than Rs 10,000.
