Missing infrastructure puts people at risk

Accidents are more likely to occur in areas with damaged or broken infrastructure. For the last two months, one streetlight pole on the road that divides Sectors 4 and 6 in the city has been slanting dangerously. Despite being a continual source of concern since accidents might happen at any moment due to the high volume of daily commuter traffic on the route, the authorities have not done anything to remove or repair it. The authorities need to take swift action.

Parks Become Trash Dumping Sites

Mayur Vihar, Phase 1 residents are upset because parks are being hired out for unauthorized wedding festivities, creating massive waste dumps in the process. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has not acted in response to several complaints. Residents have been calling for stringent implementation of restrictions since parks that were created for enjoyment are now strewn with rubbish. Residents are appalled by the event organizers’ contempt for the law and the MCD’s lack of response. The problem has become worse as a result of fruitless appeals to cancel such gatherings.
