No fuel scarcity, increased cost of vegetables in Amritsar

There was no lack of petrol at filling stations, veggies, or necessities today in the holy city, despite the fact that the previous day the protest of the farmers had made it difficult for cars to travel the Amritsar-Delhi road. The price of veggies remained unaffected.

There was a rumor last night about a possible gasoline scarcity once the agitation began. Residents flocked to gas stations to fill their cars as panic struck. It was difficult for gas station employees to persuade customers that there was no gasoline scarcity in the city.

In the same way, the wholesale vegetable and fruit market in the Vallah region had an ample supply of fresh agricultural food. Wholesale vegetable merchant Paramjit Singh said that the agricultural food supply were unaffected. According to him, the prices of fruits and vegetables offered on the market today have not increased.
