PM Modi announced intentions for a property redistribution by the Congress at an Aligarh rally

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that if the Congress were elected to power, they would redistribute people’s property.

At a polling place here, Modi repeated statements he had made the previous day in Rajasthan, stating that the Congress intended to inspect people’s belongings and then distribute them.

He said that the dynastic politics, corruption, and “appeasement” tactics of the two “shahezade,” or princes, had been “locked” by the people of Aligarh. He was speaking about Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, and Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, who are rivals in the Lok Sabha elections.

Modi said that the Congress was behaving in an appeasement-focused manner while taking no action to improve the social and economic standing of Muslims.

He said that one action that benefited Muslim women during his administration was the passing of a legislation prohibiting quick triple talaq. He also brought up the rise in the Haj quota for pilgrims from India.
