PM Modi Meets Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj While in Dongargarh, Chhattisgarh, Which Is Up for Election

On Sunday, Jain seer Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj and Prime Minister Narendra Modi met at the well-known pilgrimage destination of Dongargarh, which is located in the Rajnandagon district of Chhattisgarh.

In the poll-bound state of Dongargarh, the PM also said prayers at the Maa Bamleshwari Temple, which is situated at the base of a hill. Modi took a helicopter from the Gondia airfield in Maharashtra, where he landed early in the morning.

In a post on X, Modi expressed his gratitude for being blessed by Acharya Shri 108 Vidhyasagar Ji Maharaj at the Chandragiri Jain Mandir in Dongargarh, Chhattisgarh.

“PM Narendra Modi offered prayers at Maa Bamleshwari temple and wished for the prosperity and happiness of the country,” the state BJP unit said in a post on X. Raman Singh, a former state chief minister, accompanied Modi.

Elections for the ninety-member state legislature will take place on November 7 and November 17. One of the twenty seats up for election in the first phase on November 7 is the Dongargarh assembly constituency.
