Police in Gurugram retrieve a vehicle and four phones

Gurugram: On Tuesday, the Gurugram police detained four people and found that they were in possession of six cell phones and a stolen automobile. The accused were identified by the police as Delhi residents Jaspal, also known as Golu, Mandeep Singh, Mohammad Faizan, and Fansab. An arrest squad from the DLF Phase 4 police station took Jaspal and Mandeep Singh from the Ghata village T point. From Delhi, Mohammad Faizan and Fansab were taken into custody. The Sector 65 police station area was the scene of a phone snatching case, according to the authorities, involving the suspects. OC

Six car thieves enter the police network.

Gurugram: Six vehicle lifters were detained by the police yesterday after they found six stolen motorbikes, two scooters, and an Eco car. The accused were identified by the police as Aslam from Palwal district, Ayan, also known as Sahil, from Bijnor in Uttar Pradesh, Sahil Khan from Nuh, Piyush from Uttar Pradesh, and Pankaj and Shamshad Ali from Gurugram. According to police spokesman Subhash Boken, “Pankaj was arrested from the DLF Phase 1 area while Shamshad Ali was held from the Kherki Daula area.” OC

A car strikes a person, who dies

Gurugram: Late on Tuesday evening, a pedestrian was struck and killed by a speeding car on the Delhi-Jaipur expressway. The driver left the scene. Manoj Kumar submitted a complaint alleging that at 7.30 pm, his cousin Sunil—a resident of Nepal—had left the dhaba to fulfill an order. Sunil suffered serious injuries after being struck by a car while he was crossing the street. After bystanders brought him to the hospital, his physicians pronounced him dead. A formal complaint was filed.
