Police in the twin cities increase security during Holi

Hubballi: In anticipation of Holi, the police have increased security in Hubballi. On Friday, the five-day celebration will come to a conclusion. Under the careful eyes of the police, a number of organisations have planned rain dances and a parade through certain areas to commemorate Holi.

Renuka Sukumar, the commissioner of police, informed TOI that 15 KSRP platoons and 15 CISF had been sent into the city. In order to monitor the movements of Holi celebrants, we have also deployed over 150 CCTV cameras in delicate and exposed locations. In addition to the 3,500 employees in the twin cities, we have 500 house guards and 300 employees from other areas on security duty.
