Projects of Rs 110 crore are awarded to Shillai

In the Sirmaur district’s Shillai Assembly constituency, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu today officially opened and lay the foundation stones for a number of projects valued at around Rs 110 crore. He dedicated a lift irrigation project at Kando Chiog in Kamrau tehsil, which cost Rs 1.85 crore, and a flow irrigation system at Suinga Bagh, which cost Rs 59.67 lakh.

Sukhu laid the foundation stones for the following roads: the Drabil Nainidhar-Halan road (Rs 17.64 crore), the Salwala-Sataun road (Rs 15.90 crore), and the Shillai Naya-Kandi-Sundaradi road (Rs 7 crore). Additionally, the road from Kafota-Koti-Kando-Chiog to the Tons bridge will be upgraded at a cost of Rs 30.68 crore.

He also laid the foundation stones for a number of projects, including a 69.60 lakh rupee veterinary hospital, two more rooms with verandahs at Government Senior Secondary School, Tatiana, a primary health center building in Timbi, a 19.36 crore rupee modern hospital at the Civil Hospital, Shillai, a 2.95 crore rupee Sharli-Manpur road, and a 2.25 crore rupee lift irrigation scheme for Bagna Basti to be built at Guddi and Bandli gram panchayats.

The Chief Minister also dedicated a 33 KV electrical sub station at Kafota, which will be built for Rs 3.79 crore, and a Rajiv Gandhi Adarsh Day Boarding School at Sataun, which will be erected at a cost of Rs 6 crore.

He declared the opening of an Industrial Training Institute at Jakhna, the Tehsil Welfare Officer’s office in Kamrau tehsil, the Executive Engineer’s office in Shillai, and divisional offices of the State Electricity Board in Sangrah in the Renuka Assembly constituency.

Together with the Block Development Officer’s Office at Dadahu and the renovation of the Civil Hospital at Haripurdhar, he also announced the opening of a veterinary dispensary at Jakhando, a government middle school at Khubyar, a government high school at Gangtoli, and primary health centers at Kota-Pab and Halan, as well as health sub-centers at Thotan-Jakhal, Uttari, and Naya Panjore.

Specialized physicians will be stationed in the Shillai hospital, according to Sukhu. Additionally, he said that a bridge would be built across the Bambarar Khud, that ten roads in Shillai would get Rs 25 lakh apiece, and that the Manal-Kodga-Sakahonli route would receive Rs 24 crore.

The government promised to provide young people merit-based jobs: Sukhu

The Chief Minister said that his administration was dedicated to giving young people jobs based on merit while maintaining openness.
The government has introduced the Rs 500-crore and Rs 680-crore Rajiv Gandhi Self-Employment Start-up Schemes to provide people more options for self-employment. He Ganga Yojana Sukhau made fun of the renegade MLAs and the opposition by claiming that they were attempting to spread anarchy. He threatened to teach them a lesson for attempting to sow discord and offending public opinion.
He pleaded with the public to punish these opportunists for their betrayal of them in the sake of politics and money.

Sukhu said that the Opposition’s attempts to “destabilize the government that has the backing of people” will never be successful.
According to the Chief Minister, every Assembly seat would have model health facilities that will serve people’s medical requirements even in rural areas.
