Punjab: Man kills father, mother, and brother in Jalandhar; investigation continues to find the suspect

News from Punjab: At Tower Enclave Phase 3 in the Lambra police station area of Jalandhar, Punjab, a man shot and killed three members of his family. With his father’s legally owned handgun, the accused, who goes by the name Harpreet, shot his father, mother, and brother. Jagdeep Singh, Amritpal Kaur, and their son Gagandeep Singh have been named as the dead.

The Lambra police and top Jalandhar police officers hurried to the scene after getting the information and saw three victims lying in the pool of blood. It looked to be a case of a property dispute at first glance. Balbir Singh, DCP, Jalandhar Dehaat, was reported by news agency ANI as adding that the crime weapon has been confiscated and that attempts were being made to apprehend the suspect.
