Rahul Gandhi in LS: Modi solely listens to Shah and Adani, same as Ravan listened to Meghnad and Kumbhakarna

Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi to “Ravan” on Wednesday, saying that just as the hydra-headed demon king in the epic Ramayana listened only to “Meghnad” and “Kumbhakarna,” PM Modi only listens to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and industrialist Gautam Adani.

Rahul stated in a statement to the Lok Sabha on Wednesday during the discussion of the Opposition’s no-trust resolution against the Centre: “Ravan used to listen solely to Meghnad and Kumbhakarna. In a same vein, Modi Ji only pays attention to Amit Shah and Gautam Adani.

The Congress leader said, “They killed Bharat Mata in Manipur,” in a further attack on the federal government for allegedly failing to stop the bloodshed in Manipur.

The Congress leader said, “Lanka ko Hanuman ne nahi jalaya tha… It wasn’t Lord Ram who ultimately murdered him; it was Ravan’s hubris.Ram ne Ravan ko nahi maara tha… Lanka ko Ravan ke ahankar ne jalaya tha…Ahankar ne Ravan ke kaara tha, said Ravan.Aap pure desh me fek rahe ho keroseneKerosene feki and fir chingari are available in Manipur. It wasn’t Lord Hanuman who destroyed Lanka (Ravan’s empire), it was Ravan’s haughtiness. “Ab aap Haryana me kar rahe ho..aap pure desh ko jalane me lage ho..pure desh me Bharat Maata ki hatya kr rahe ho.” In a same vein, Ravan’s haughtiness—not Lord Ram—was what ultimately brought about his demise. You (the BJP) are stoking the fire all throughout the nation. You kindled a fire in Manipur after pouring kerosene on the ground. In Haryana and all around the nation, you are now doing the same thing. You are murdering Bharat Maata all throughout the nation.

Additionally, the Congressman said that the BJP had “murdered India in Manipur” and that they were “traitors, not patriots.”

The House’s no-confidence vote was resumed on Wednesday, and Rahul Gandhi was the first speaker. He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the ethnic unrest in Manipur.

He remarked, “You killed Bharat Mata in Manipur,” referring to the BJP, which is in charge both at the federal level and in Manipur.

The Congressman said that “Bharat” is the voice of the nation and that this “voice was killed in Manipur” in reference to his travel to the state of Manipur and his interactions with victims of violence there.

In addition to “Bharat ek awaaz hai,” “Bharat hamari janta ki awaaz hai,” and “dil ki awaaz hai.” We are from the Awaz, and we are from Manipur. Bharat Mata’s hatya iska matlab aapne Manipur mein ki…You destroyed India by annihilating the Manipuris. You are not a nationalist; you are a traitor, said Rahul Gandhi.

In Manipur, they slaughtered the Indians. They murdered not only Manipur but also India. Though their policies did not destroy Manipur, they did kill India in that state. In Manipur, they have slaughtered India, he continued.

The northeastern state has not seen the Prime Minister since it experienced violence, according to Rahul Gandhi.

“I just traveled to Manipur. Because Manipur is not part of India, our prime minister refused to travel, Gandhi said, right up to this day.

Members should use the phrase “Bharat Mata” with reverence, according to Speaker Om Birla.

Rahul Gandhi gave his first address after his restoration as a House member after being removed following his conviction in a defamation case by a Gujarat court.

Gandhi also attacked the administration in response to claims made by the Congress about the Adani-Hindenburg dispute.

“Speaker Sir, first of all, let me express my gratitude for restoring my membership in the Lok Sabha as an MP. The previous time I talked, I may have upset you by focusing on Adani; maybe your top leader was upset. You could have been affected by that agony as well. You have my apology for that. However, I spoke the truth. My speech tonight is not about Adani, therefore my BJP allies shouldn’t be alarmed. said Gandhi.

The conviction of Rahul Gandhi in the criminal defamation case involving Modi’s surname statement was last week put on hold by the Supreme Court. On Monday, he was re-elected to the Lok Sabha.

On Tuesday, the Lok Sabha began debating a resolution of no confidence in the administration.
