Rahul Gandhi meets carpenters at Delhi’s Kirti Nagar Furniture Market

Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, went to the Kirti Nagar furniture market on Thursday and spoke to carpenters about their jobs.

Gandhi has conducted three such outreach initiatives in the capital city in the recent past. He talked to the porters at the Anand Vihar train station more recently after meeting fruit and vegetable merchants in August at Azadpur Mandi.

Gandhi chatted with the carpenters and learned about their issues when visiting the furniture market on Thursday. He even tried his hand at making some furniture pieces.

“Today I visited Kirti Nagar, Delhi’s biggest furniture market, where I met the carpenter brothers. In addition to being diligent laborers, they are also excellent painters who are masters at crafting strength and beauty, according to Gandhi’s essay on X.

The former Congress leader said, “We talked a lot, learned a little about their skills, and tried to learn a little bit.”

Gandhi is shown in photos during his visit to the Kirti Nagar market, where he is seen experimenting with various furniture tools, that the Congress also posted on X.

The party said, “The Bharat Jodo Yatra is still going.”

Gandhi made this trip as part of his outreach efforts before to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

In the Sonipat area of Haryana, Gandhi had previously spoken with several female farm laborers and met some farmers who were planting paddy in their fields. Gandhi then invited these ladies to his mother’s house.

A few months ago, he drove a truck from Delhi to Chandigarh and paid attention to the worries of the drivers.
