Seven Army training facilities received the ARTRAC award

During the investiture ceremony conducted here today, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Army Training Command (ARTRAC), presented unit appreciations to seven Army training facilities for their exceptional performance.

Army Medical Corps Centre & College, Lucknow; Corps of Military Police Centre & School, Bangalore; Army Institute of Physical Training, Pune; Junior Leaders Academy, Bareilly; Wargaming Development Center, New Delhi; and Special Forces Training School, Bakloh, were among the esteemed recipients of the prestigious award.

These training facilities have significantly improved the Army’s training culture and standards, laying the groundwork for a robust and adaptable force for the twenty-first century. On the Shimla occasion, the Army Commander expressed gratitude to the Commandants on behalf of the institutions, who were joined by Subedar Majors. Furthermore, four training facilities were recognized for their financial excellence: the Wargaming Development Center in New Delhi; the Corps of Military Engineering in Pune; the Junior Leaders Academy in Bareilly; and the Military College of Telecommunication Engineering in Mhow.

Lt Col JK Verma from the Corps of Military Engineering, Pune; Maj T Irom and Preeti Mudela from the Military College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Secunderabad; and Maj Atul Pathania from the Army Airborne Training School, Agra, were among the recipients of the technical excellence award in the individual category.
