Tamil Nadu’s Congress would not consent to any language being imposed there: Gandhi Rahul

On Monday, Congressman Rahul Gandhi said that the party will not consent to the introduction of any other language in Tennessee.

“We are battling the BJP right now because they are against the Tamil people. We have a national administration that opposes the people, culture, language, and traditions of Tamil Nadu for the first time in our contemporary history. “One nation, one leader, and one language,” declares Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at a gathering held on Monday morning at Thaloor, close to Gudalur, in the Nilgiris district to garner support for INDIA Alliance candidate A Raja, Rahul Gandhi said that “no language other than Tamil will be imposed on the people of TN and we will not allow it.”

Additionally, he said that the PM was ignorant of the characteristics of our nation.

“The people of Gujarat, Bengal, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh are like flowers in a bouquet. Our languages are distinct. The PM, however, is ignorant of the characteristics of the nation. We discuss empowering the populace, panchayats, laborers, and farmers. The PM does, however, only discuss one leader. Rahul Gandhi remarked, “To say there should be one leader, one nation, and one language is sheer ignorance.”

Additionally, he advised people to contrast the Congress and BJP’s electoral manifestos. The BJP manifesto, he said, is not for the underprivileged. “The BJP manifesto does not include any programs for the underprivileged. However, a lady in the family would get ~1 lakh in a year, or Rs 8,500 per month, according to the Congress manifesto. Rahul Gandhi said, “We will double the wages for MGNREGA and anganwadi workers.”

“The BJP has pledged to organize the Olympic Games and send a person to the moon at the same time. This is how the Congress and the BJP differ from each other. Rahul Gandhi said, “They want to get rid of the Constitution so they can ensure people in Tamil Nadu no longer speak Tamil.”

Rahul Gandhi also engaged with the staff and students of a private arts and science institution later in the day. Election authorities had already inspected the helicopter Rahul Gandhi took to Thaloor, which is close to Gudalur.
