The AAP-Congress coalition decides on seat distribution for four states and will run independently in Punjab for the Lok Sabha elections

The parties unveiled their seat-sharing plans for the nation’s capital, Gujarat, Goa, and Haryana on Saturday. The AAP will run for four Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, while the Congress will run for three.

Delhi has seven parliamentary seats, all of which the BJP won in the 2019 elections.

Congress leader Mukul Wasnik made the announcement at a joint news conference here that the AAP would run for the seats in New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, and East Delhi, while his party will run for the seats in Chandni Chowk, Northeast Delhi, and Northwest Delhi.

“In Gujarat, the Congress will field candidates from the remaining 24 seats, while the AAP will run from Bharuch and Bhavnagar.

The AAP will run in Kurukshetra for the Lok Sabha seat in Haryana. He said that the Congress will run for both of Goa’s Lok Sabha seats. According to Wasnik, the Congress would also run for Chandigarh’s lone seat.

According to AAP leader Sandeep Pathak, the Congress and the AAP have chosen to run separate campaigns in Punjab for the Lok Sabha elections.

According to Wasnik, the two parties would strive to win all seven Delhi seats, despite the fact that they will compete on distinct electoral emblems.

The opposition parties created the INDIA alliance, which includes the Congress and the AAP, to challenge the BJP in the next general elections.

Candidates for the Gujarat Lok Sabha seats in Bharuch and Bhavnagar have already been declared by the AAP.

“The nation needs a powerful alternative now. The nation has benefited from the formation of this partnership. The INDIA coalition is going to fight this election. The coalition will lead the BJP’s calculations to be incorrect, according to Pathak.
