The candidates were ebullient over the last stretch of their campaign

As the state’s election campaign draws to a close, candidates TTV Dhinakaran of the AMMK, Thanga Tamilselvan of the DMK, and VT Narayanasamy of the AIADMK visited the localities of Usilampatti, Boomayanaicken patti, and Bungalowmedu, respectively.

Speaking to the assembly in Usilampatti, Dhinakaran urged supporters to vote for his “cooker” emblem and pledged to complete the 58th canal project, provide a playground for children, and supply drinking water. Additionally, he declared that he will assist Narendra Modi in carrying out development initiatives in the state and Theni seat in the event that Modi wins the prime ministership once again.

While campaigning for party candidate VT Narayanasamy in Bunglamedu, former AIADMK Minister RB Udhayakumar said that political figures who started out in the AIADMK, such as Thanga Tamilselvan and TTV Dhinakaran, have now turned against the party. He continued, saying, “Theni people should teach them a good lesson by voting for AIADMK’s Narayasamy.” He further said that the media was prejudiced and was only providing one side of the story without understanding the circumstances on the ground.

at a same vein, Thanga Tamilselvan, the DMK candidate, wrapped off his election campaign at Boomayanaicken Kavudanpatti in the Theni district. Speaking to the public, he predicted that the INDIA group will win over 400 seats nationwide and take the center. Tamilselvan also pledged to lower the cost of cylinders to Rs 500 if the INDIA bloc wins the election and would take action to provide women a monthly support of Rs 1 lakh.
