Raj & DK’s dark comedic criminal thriller series “Farzi,” which is about forging cash notes, was published in 2022 to immediate popularity. Reviews for the show were quite positive, complimenting Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi’s performances in particular. It was the first time the two actors had worked together. Raashii revealed details on the follow-up to News18, saying, “Farzi 2 will start at the beginning of next year.” The fact that Raj and DK have busy schedules with both The Family Man 3 and Citadel Honey Bunny may be the reason for the delay in shooting.
‘Farzi 2’ is definitely in the works, although the start date of filming is unknown, Shahid said earlier this month at a workshop. “I haven’t said yes to anything for OTT as of yet since I had two releases this year, so I’m going to do some things for theatres now. Farzi 2 will happen, and if there is anything else I want, I will. However, Farzi 2 will undoubtedly occur,” he said.
