Traffic Jams In Mumbai Due To Gudi Padwa Celebrations: Review The List Of Avoided Routes

Mumbai Traffic Advisory: Due to the large number of persons attending the festival, the Mumbai Traffic Police on Tuesday imposed traffic restrictions on a number of South Bombay roads in observance of Gudi Padwa 2024. As the Gudi Padwa 2024 festivities wind down, Mumbai Police indicated that these restrictions on vehicle movements would be eased at 3 PM.

The Mumbai Police said in the traffic warning that RR Road would remain blocked to traffic from the SVP Road intersection to the Saifee Hospital Building.

Parking is prohibited on VP Road between the CP Tank Circle and Nityanand Hotel intersections, according to Mumbai Police.
Traffic on VP Road will not be allowed due to the planned celebration gathering. Vehicles coming from Prarthana Samaj Junction have the option to turn right into SVP Road.
The BJ Road to Khattar Galli would be blocked, according to Mumbai Police
Travelers must use MK Road.
JSS Road will continue to be blocked to both vehicles and parking.
