Trisha, a city wonder child, wins three prizes at the Chandigarh horse show

Three medals were won by Trisha Sareen, a city girl, during the third Punjab State Tent Pegging and Horse Show for Major Randhir Singh and Bhai Dharam Singh Memorial Trophy, which was held at Forest Hill Resort in Chandigarh on March 16 and 17. Of these, two were gold medals.

Over 120 horses and 200 experienced athletes from different teams, including the BSF and Punjab Police, competed in this two-day tournament, which Trisha, a seven-year-old trainee at the Horse Riding Club in Jalandhar, took part in.

She won gold medals in the Children Fancy Dress competition, the Boot and Hay group, and the Children Hacks event, making her parents and trainer pleased.
