Two Kerala High Court justices assess the status of the Brahmapuram garbage factory near Kochi

On Thursday, two justices from the Kerala High Court went to the waste treatment facility at Brahmapuram to inspect the ongoing construction. Judge Bechu Kurian Thomas and Justice Gopinath P of the Special Bench visited the waste disposal yard to assess the desilting of Chitrapuzha, the black army fly plant, the development of bio-mining, and the functionality of the hydrants.

Officials from Kochi Corporation said that biomining operations are moving on at the Brahmapuram site. The judges examined a number of areas, such as the biowaste treatment facility, the waste processing plant, the on-site roadways, and the fire safety protocols. The head of the health standing committee, T K Ashraf, said that the judges had expressed their satisfaction with the work being done at the factory.
