Unable to utter anti-Sanatana slogans: Congress spokesman Gourav Vallabh leaves the organization

A well-known Congress spokesman in financial and economic TV discussions, Professor Gourav Vallabh, announced his retirement from the party on Thursday.

In a letter to Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, Vallabh called the grand old party “directionless” and brought up topics like the caste census. He said he could not support ‘anti-Sanatan’ sentiments.

“The way Congress party is moving forward directionlessly today, I do not feel comfortable with it,” Gourav Vallabh said in a post on X. I am not allowed to yell anti-Sanatana chants or mistreat the nation’s wealth producers. As a result, I am leaving my main membership in the Congress party as well as all of my posts.”

According to Vallabh’s resignation letter, the party’s grassroots level has become worse and is unable to understand the goals of New India. He was disappointed, saying the party never manages to win an election or run a viable opposition. It is difficult for him to bridge the political divide between top executives and frontline employees.

The Congress spokeswoman said that in order to promote constructive change, direct contact between party members and leaders is essential. The party’s present direction has drawn criticism from Vallabh, who noted the party’s inconsistent positions on caste-based censuses and perceptions of being against the Hindu community as a whole. He feels these positions compromise the party’s core values.
