Watch: Indian family heirlooms stolen from a US couple in Los Angeles who were “assaulted, robbed,”

A bunch of robbers following a couple of Indian descent from a jewelry shop in a tiny neighborhood in the US state of California stole their valuables at night. The event, which was described as “calculated organized crime,” happened last week in Fullerton, an Orange County community.

“My mother, Dr. Wali Jyotika, had her handbag taken, including jewelry and ancestral heirlooms, on December 22 at 7:48 PM in Fullerton, CA. They had just returned from a jewelry shop in Cerritos. Priyanka Wali, the daughter of the couple, posted a security video of robbers tailing her parents in a white Tesla on social media along with the caption, “This is calculated organized crime, robbery, and assault.”

The suspects drove a black Honda Odyssey and another white car to the couple’s Fullerton residence on the evening of December 22. After robbing Jyotika Wali of her handbag, which included priceless jewelry and inherited artifacts, and beating Vijay Wali, the robbers quickly left. The suspects left the area quickly.

“A new film has been received, and it shows that a black Honda Odyssey with tinted windows followed my parents for more than 16 miles from the diamond shop in Little India Artesia/Cerritos to Fullerton, where they were the victims of an attack and robbery that took place in their driveway. This coordinated crime in Southern California involves numerous persons and at least two automobiles, according to Priyanka.

In a social media post, she made note of the fact that the culprits could be heard speaking Spanish. “My mother’s purse was being taken from her by the person who attacked my father, who was speaking in Spanish and saying ‘quitaselo, quitaselo,'” which translates to “take it from her, take it from her.”

It is unknown how much the stolen goods are worth, according to KTLA 5, the local news station in Los Angeles. According to the article, the Fullerton Police Department is looking into the incident but has not released any information on the suspects.
