Will represent Ambala in the Lok Sabha: Varun Chaudhry of the Congress

Varun Chaudhry, the Congress candidate for the Ambala Lok Sabha seat, is stepping up his campaign and urged party members to go door-to-door in order to educate people about the bad policies of the BJP administration.

“People have decided to teach the BJP a lesson for its wrong policies and dictatorship, and vote for the INDIA bloc,” Chaudhry remarked at a workers’ meeting held on Tuesday at the Congress party headquarters in Ambala City and Ambala Cantonment. But we must ensure that we reach every voter and persuade them to cast their ballot for us. Real problems like growing rates of corruption, unemployment, inflation, and the drug problem are never addressed by the BJP. Crores of rupees have been spent to prevent farmers from reaching Delhi as they fight for their rights.

What kind of democracy is this if the citizens of this nation are unable to go to the capital? The BJP has consistently attempted to silence anyone who speak out in support of their rights. From laborers to farmers, athletes to sarpanches, everyone has experienced the horrors of this administration. To preserve India’s democracy and constitution, we must fight,” he said.

As part of his campaign for election, Chaudhry, the incumbent Member of Legislative from the Mullana assembly seat, visited a number of marketplaces and rural and urban locations to bolster his support base and pay respects at places of worship.

“I will file nomination on May 2 and we will assemble at the Manav chowk in Ambala City and then proceed to file the nomination,” he added, extending an invitation to the party workers to join him in support of the nomination in big numbers. Former chairman Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and State Party chairman Udai Bhan will be in attendance. I ask that you all come in big numbers to join us.
