England To Send Chef On India Tour Due To Fear Of Falling Ill: Report. An ex-star takes a brutal ‘IPL’ dig

When England’s Tour of India begins later this month, all eyes will be on it. The first of the five Tests on the Tour will take place on January 25 and the last Test will take place in March. After losing 3-1 on Indian soil in 2024, England will be eager to turn things around. According to a story published in The Telegraph before of the show, England is sending its own chef to India because they are afraid of becoming sick. “England will take chef to India to avoid players falling ill” is the headline of the news.

Additionally, according to the newspaper, England is the only cricket team to “regularly tour with their own cook, despite risk of offending their hosts.”

Former Indian player Aakash Chopra cruelly mocked the news with a “IPL” jab.

“Very good concept. Every year, I’m sure most English players also bring in their own cooks for the Indian Premier League. In a post on X, he wrote, “AS IF.”

Excellent concept.

Prior to the five-match Test series, Stokes’ close friend and former England bowler Harmison questioned England’s decision to go to India barely three days early.

He believed that the absence of acclimatization may prove to be a lethal combination. He said that England could “deserve to get beaten 5-0” in the future.

“England really deserves to lose 5-0 if they arrive three days early. I’m an elderly guy. They will remark, “Times have changed, the game has changed,” in support of this. However, I’ll tell you what—preparation hasn’t changed,” Steve Harmison said in a now-viral video.

“It is impossible to enter India unprepared. You should never go to India unprepared. Even if you were in India six weeks beforehand, you wouldn’t be ready for the nerves and excitement of that first test. In that wonderful side, you discuss (Kevin) Pietersen, as well as (Andrew) Strauss and (Alastair) Cook. the only team to triumph there. If you had informed them three days in advance that you were heading to India, what would they have said?

“I have to say, I really like this new strategy. I adore Ben Stokes, the Brendon McCullum strategy, Rob Key, and all the ECB has accomplished. I apologize, but I had to travel in three days ahead of [the India series]. For an Ashes Test series, you would never act in that manner.”
