“I Am The Only Guy After Sakshi Bhabhi,” Ravindra Jadeja teases MS Dhoni in light of CSK’s upcoming IPL 2023 Final celebration

It would be negligent to overlook the IPL 2023 aftermath when discussing the most picture-perfect endings in the history of the competition. In what seemed to be his last season with the storied Chennai Super Kings, an elderly Dhoni hugged his best general, Ravindra Jadeja, and raised him into the air just before the team had the opportunity to raise the IPL trophy for a record-tying fifth time.

Well, on Thursday at a promotional event in Chennai, “Thala” MS Dhoni and his faithful assistant Jadeja got to revisit and remember the famous occasion that included, as the left-arm all-rounder made a sly joke referencing their happy moment.

“I think I am the only guy who was lifted by Mahi bhai after Sakshi bhabhi,” said Jadeja on stage, causing everyone in attendance to laugh out loud.

For a number of reasons, the 2023 Indian Premier League final will live forever in history books. Rain forced the game to be moved to the scheduled day, and Gujarat Titans amassed an enormous 214 points. Chennai was set a revised goal of 171 runs to pursue in 15 overs after rain caused havoc during the innings break.

Chennai got off to a strong start because to their top order, but their middle order lacked drive.

The difference-maker for Chennai was their brilliant all-rounder, Ravindra Jadeja, who came out of his shell when there wasn’t much hope left.

With a spectacular finale, Ravindra Jadeja hit a six and a boundary to give the Men in Yellow a thrilling victory in yet another last-ball match. The image that will live on in the hearts of Thala supporters forever was when Jadeja walked straight to Dhoni after the incredible finish and the Chennai captain hoisted him up.

Speaking on the subject, the seasoned Dhoni himself discussed the significance of that specific Jadeja innings, complimenting the all-rounder for his poise and determination to overcome the circumstances and restore honor to the “Anbu’den.”

“And in this case as well, you know I had a good feeling that Jaddu had the aptitude and the attitude to reach the goal. Once again, however, there’s no guarantee that this will occur. It was a really remarkable half-hour. You are aware that he smashed a few of really tough sixes before the last ball.

It seems simple when you look at the TV. However, having batted down the order, I am aware of how hard it is to get that level of elevation and win it for a six. Additionally, everyone is under pressure at the same moment. Both the opponent and ourselves are interested in winning. Everyone is working really hard. Therefore, I’m happy that we prevailed and that the feelings were strong. So let’s give Jaddu a huge round of applause for the manner he batted,” said a composed Dhoni.
