Irfan Pathan’s cryptic post has fans speculating on “How Someone Can be Fit Enough to Practice But…”

With the announcement on Saturday that Virat Kohli would continue to miss India’s Test matches against England for personal reasons, the BCCI put an end to any speculation over the composition of the Indian team. Furthermore, Shreyas Iyer was not selected, but there was no explanation given for his omission.

After missing the second Test owing to injury, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja have returned, however their participation is contingent upon receiving the BCCI medical team’s approval for fitness.

Irfan Pathan, the former all-rounder for India, took aim at an unidentified player in a mysterious remark that he posted on social networking site X, which was previously Twitter, just after the selection was revealed.

I find it puzzling that someone who is physically capable of practicing can’t play domestic cricket. Even so, how is this even logical? A few hours after the announcement of the India Test lineup for the last three matches on Saturday morning, Pathan tweeted.

Despite Pathan’s lack of attribution, social media users have conjectured on the possible subject of the T20 World Cup victory.

Ishan Kishan, the India wicketkeeper-batter, is reportedly working out at the Kiran More Academy in Baroda with the Pandya brothers, Hardik and Krunal, according to a recent report from Cricbuzz.

Since participating in a five-match T20I series against Australia at home in November 2023, Ishan has not played competitive cricket. Despite traveling with the Indian squad for the subsequently scheduled South Africa trip, he did not participate in any matches.

His persistent absence from the India teams has raised questions about why he isn’t playing, with head coach Rahul Dravid expressing his desire to stop obsessing over the Ishan Kishan topic. I said he has to play some cricket and come back whenever he is ready, not that he has to play domestic cricket. He gets to make the decision. He is not under any duress from us. We have communication with him.
