Ishan Kishan hilarably grills Tilak Varma about his tattoos in “Humein Jawab Chahiye!”

Tilak Varma achieved his goal of playing for India by making his T20I debut earlier this week, some 14 months after he played his first IPL game for Mumbai Indians. Tilak has received high accolades from all corners for his strong performances during the previous two IPL seasons, and he made quite an impact in his debut match. Tilak is now trying to reproduce those at the international level.

Tilak’s exciting 22-ball 39, which included two fours and three breathtaking sixes, gave India a good start to their India career despite the fact that they were unable to chase down 150 in the opening T20I against the West Indies on Thursday.

The 20-year-old said he would be a little anxious for his first international assignment in a conversation with his India and IPL colleague Ishan Kishan, but he plans to play to his strengths.

West Indies is a highly strong T20 team. I want to stick to the fundamentals and play to my abilities. Since this is my first television series, I want to give it all. I’ll be a little anxious, but I want to give it my all. In a video released by the BCCI, Tilak stated, “I mentioned to Rahul sir during practice that if I end up losing my wicket while doing my all, that’s alright.

Tilak scored 397 runs in 14 innings during his inaugural IPL season, which was second most for his team behind Ishan’s 418 runs. He earlier this year put up a fantastic performance with 343 runs in 11 innings to demonstrate that it wasn’t an exception.

“You are under pressure to do well in the first year of the IPL. You know you have to earn additional opportunities, so I toyed with the idea that I needed to prove myself. Of course, every player dreams of representing India someday, but at the time, I wasn’t considering it. Only after playing well did I get the call, said Tilak.

Ishan then mentioned how many tattoos Tilak had and hysterically said, “Humein jawab chahiye! We need responses.

“I’ve wanted a tattoo since I was a child, but it wasn’t legal then. I asked my coach, who advised me to remain focused, get to a certain level, and then try,” Tilak said.

Tilak remembered the day he first learned that he had been selected for the India team.

I made calls to my family and coach. I wanted to talk longer, but my parents started sobbing and becoming upset, so I stopped,” Tilak stated.
