Quarterfinals of the Punjab State Hockey Championship include Bathinda and Tarn Taran teams

Bathinda reached the quarterfinals of the Punjab State Hockey Championship 2024 in the junior boys division by defeating Hoshiarpur 6-0 and Tarn Taran by defeating Pathankot 3-1. Amrik Singh Powar, General Secretary of Hockey Punjab, began the competition at the Olympian Surjeet Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar.

First match: Bathinda defeated Ropar 4-0, Pathankot defeated Faridkot 2-0, Sangrur defeated Mansa 11-0, Malerkotla defeated Ferozepur 2-1, Hoshiarpur defeated Mohali 5-0, Patiala defeated Moga 3-0, and Gurdaspur defeated Muktsar 6-0.

By a score of 6-0, Bathinda beat Hoshiarpur in the pre-quarterfinal matches. Tarn Taran defeated Pathankot 3-1 to go to the quarterfinals. Ripudaman Kumar Singh, General Secretary of Hockey Kapurthala, presided over the opening event.
